Kickback Kingdom Tournament & Ranked Code of Conduct

Share this page with participants for official event expectations, fair-play requirements, ranked misconduct enforcement, and prize commitments.

Agree before play

All ranked activity depends on clear participant agreement before the match begins.

Finish what starts

Ranked matches must be concluded, with forfeits or interruptions handled through official review.

Match standard

1) Match Agreement & Completion

Every ranked match starts with written shared expectations, including any special rules, and ends with a recorded outcome.

  • A ranked match can be any activity with any rules, as long as all participants agree.
  • Any special rules, custom restrictions, scoring changes, format changes, or match-specific conditions must be written out in the ranked match before play begins. If a special rule is not written in the ranked match, it cannot be enforced.
  • Once started, every ranked match must be concluded, even if it ends in a draw.

  • Results of a ranked match may be disputed by filing a ticket.

3) Integrity, Conduct, and Enforcement

Ranked play depends on respect, fair competition, and enforceable consequences for misconduct.

  • We pride ourselves on the unbreakable integrity of our ranked system, judgement, tournaments, and honor.
  • Griefing a ranked match or tournament may result in a temporary or permanent ban from future events.
  • Be respectful and restrain yourself from getting angry or heated if you are losing a match.
  • The Dissident Protocol tracks ranked misconduct with strikes. Reaching 3 active strikes gives you a Dissident flag.
  • Dissidents are temporarily banned from ranked matches and Kickback servers while their flag is active.
  • Strikes can expire over time, and the Dissident flag duration depends on the severity of the offense.
  • Cheating results in a 1 year ban from ranked matches and Kickback servers.

4) Fees, Collections, and Prize Payout Commitment

Entry fees, host obligations, and prize payout commitments stay clear before events conclude.

  • Participants are required to pay any entry or registration fee associated with the event.
  • Quest hosts are responsible for providing any fees that failed to be collected from participants.
  • Participants who fail to pay registration fees may have their accounts locked from trading, using the store, joining other events, and other platform features.
  • Since all ranked events must be concluded, events with a cash prize will always be paid out by Kickback Kingdom in the agreed upon currency and payment method.
