The settlers have recovered Tavian, and built a relationship of trust and hope with the indigenous halflings. They share a common enemy, the vast wilderness, the challenges of survival, and the rival indigenous faction of goblins that have populated the interior of the continent. Iris, having revealed information about Elara and her backstory, is set on the mission of delivering Elara to her gilded cage of a palace in the southwestern corner of the continent. How will the founders of Goonopolis proceed?

Mysterious explosions in the distance peaked Iris' curiosity and concern to venture out and find the source. A neighboring settlement, a few miles from the main camp, has been totally eradicated. On the way to investigate, the party stumbled upon something even more unsettling; an underground goblin horde. With Raven's refusal to support the party in their quest for tracking down Elara, coupled with Chloe's refusal to wake up and accompany Mabel, the party is left with an uncertain path forward.
